This is the first of your essays that I’ve tried to read on Substack. I found the typesetting of the math very distracting. I’m glad it’s still available on your blog. Pdf links would be great. Is that possible?
I would like to see this explained in more detail. I enjoyed reading JS Bell’s paper that you referred to. I like the idea that Lorentz invariance appears in our physics, not because of the properties of space-time, but instead the utility of the concept of Minkowski space-time arises from us being constituted from Lorentz invariant fields. I think this idea should be popularized. Perhaps a book the size of “Physics from Finance” should be written by someone.

BTW, the poor math formatting was on the iPad version of the Substack app.
